How to come to DK HOUSE Sapporo

If you come from other place than Hokkaido, you will probably take a flight. So, I'd like to explain the two most recommended directions from new Chitose airport terminal to DK HOUSE Sapporo.

1. By bus to Sapporo Prince Hotel

The most common way to get to downtown area in Sapporo city is by train. But it's a little complicated to come to DK HOUSE Sapporo from Sapporo station UNLESS you take a taxi.

Taking a bus from the airport is the cheapest, easiest and also comfortable way to get to DK HOUSE Sapporo. Sapporo Prince Hotel is only a 7 minutes' walk from us. If you have a lot of luggage, you can easily take a taxi from the hotel's taxi stand.

However, it takes 80 to 90 minutes in summer 100 to 120 minutes in winter to get to Sapporo Prince Hotel by bus. Because DK HOUSE's office closes at 6p.m., please take a train if you are running out of time.

2. By train

If you take a taxi from Sapporo station, which will cost about 1,200 JPY, you can get to DK HOUSE Sapporo in the fastest way. Totally, it only takes about 60 minutes to come to DK HOUSE Sapporo from the airport.

Also, you have other options to come to DK HOUSE from the station than taking a taxi. You can take a subway, which costs just 200 JPY, or walk from the station, which takes about 40 to 50 minutes. However, I highly recommend you to take a taxi.

2-1. Taking a subway from Sapporo station

After getting a JR train, please take a subway on Namboku-Line bound for Makomadai. Please exchange subways at the next station, Ohdori station, to Tozai-Line bound for Minamisawa. Then, please get out at the next station, Nishi-11(jui)-cchome station.

Please take a look at another article about how to come to DK HOUSE Sapporo to Nishi-11-chome station.

2-2. Walking from Sapporo Station

In central Sapporo, roads follow a grid pattern. When you know Sapporo station is located in North 5 & West 4 and DK HOUSE Sapporo is South 5 & West 13, you can easily follow the direction.

To know the detailed direction around DK HOUSE Sapporo, please refer to another article about how to come to DK HOUSE Sapporo to Nishi-11-chome station.

Rental bedding (Western style)

Most of the beds in 1K type rooms and Twin rooms are of western type as shown on the photo below.

A rental bedding for this type of bed will be included in a bag.

It includes a bed pad, a sheet, a branket, a feather comforter and a feather pirrow.

I'd like to explain how to make a bed with a western bedding set.
First, please put a bed pad on the equipped mattress.

And then, please put a sheet and a blanket. You are supposed to sleep between a bed pad and a sheet.

At last, please cover a banket with a comforter. That's it.

Rental bedding (Japanese style)

DK HOUSE Sapporo doesn't offer a bedding.
So, please prepare your own. Or we offer a rental.

If you'd like to bring yours, I don't recommend a sleeping bag because most of the beds in Standard rooms are hard like below.

If you'd like to apply for a rental, a rental bedding set will be offer in the bag with a bottom battress like below.

The bag includes everything you need. It has a bottom mattress, a second mattress, a sheet, a blanket, a comforter and a pirrow (with a pirrow cover).

I'd like to explain how to make a bed with these Japanese-style beddings.

First, please put the bottom mattress on the bed.

Second, please put the second mattress on it.

And cover it with a sheet.

Third, please put a blanket on it.

Lastly, please put a comforter on it.

If you lease a 1K type room or a Twin room, please take a look at another article about a rental bedding (Western style).
